Follow The Directions

01

Step

Gather all ingredients.

02

Step

Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

03

Step

Place ground turkey, feta, breadcrumbs, olive oil, red onion, mint, oregano, parsley, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, cumin, lemon zest, crushed red pepper, and egg in a large bowl; stir gently until well combined. Be careful not to overmix. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

04

Step

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, shape mixture into 24 (1-ounce) meatballs; arrange in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Generously spray meatballs with cooking spray. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

05

Step

Broil in the preheated oven until meatballs are golden brown on top, and an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest portion of meatballs registers 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), 8 to 10 minutes. Rotate baking sheet from front to back halfway through cooking time. (Cook time: 8-10 minutes)

06

Step

Garnish with oregano leaves, and serve with lemon wedges.

For extra flavor, marinate the ground turkey with the spices and herbs for at least 30 minutes before forming the meatballs.
Serve these meatballs with a side of tzatziki sauce or a Greek salad for a complete meal.
To prevent sticking, make sure the baking sheet is well-sprayed with cooking spray.
If you don't have fresh herbs, you can use dried herbs. Use about 1 teaspoon of each dried herb.
These meatballs can also be cooked in a skillet over medium heat. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
