Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

Melt the White Chocolate (2 minutes): In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate morsels in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval to prevent burning. Continue until completely smooth and creamy.

02

Step
1 mins

Infuse with Flavor and Color (1 minute): Stir in the raspberry extract and food coloring until the color is uniform throughout the melted chocolate.

03

Step
5 mins

Shape the Chips (5 minutes): Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the melted chocolate to a resealable plastic bag. Snip a very small corner off the bag. Pipe small 'chips' onto the prepared parchment paper. Aim for a natural, irregular chip shape.

04

Step
5 mins

Chill and Set (5 minutes): Refrigerate the baking sheet until the chips are firm and set.

Use high-quality white chocolate for the best flavor and melting consistency.
Gel food coloring is recommended as it won't affect the consistency of the chocolate as much as liquid food coloring.
Experiment with different extracts like lemon, orange, peppermint, or almond for a variety of flavored chips.
For a more intense flavor, you can use flavored oils instead of extracts, but use sparingly as they can sometimes seize the chocolate.
Make sure to snip a very small corner off the piping bag, as the chocolate will flow out quickly. Start small, you can always make the hole larger.

The piping was a bit tricky for me, but they still tasted great even if they weren't perfectly shaped!

These were so easy to make and the raspberry flavor was fantastic! I used them in my muffins and they were a hit.

Great recipe! I added a pinch of citric acid powder to the raspberry mixture for a more pronounced tangy flavor.
