Follow The Directions

01

Step
8 mins

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts and cook until tender-crisp, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well and immediately transfer to a large bowl. (8-10 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

Marinate: Pour the zesty Italian dressing and hot sauce over the warm Brussels sprouts. Toss gently but thoroughly to ensure all the sprouts are evenly coated. (2 minutes)

03

Step
4 hrs

Chill and Infuse: Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally, for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to fully develop. (4 hours minimum)

For a deeper flavor, lightly roast the Brussels sprouts before marinating. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly browned.
If you prefer a sweeter marinade, add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the dressing.
These marinated Brussels sprouts are best served cold or at room temperature. They can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

I love this recipe! I used balsamic vinaigrette instead of Italian dressing, and it was still amazing.
