Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact as a single sheet. Place the roll bottoms in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Generously spread honey mustard on the cut sides of both the roll bottoms and tops. Layer the roll bottoms with sliced deli ham, Swiss cheese, and dill pickle slices. Carefully replace the roll tops. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Brush the roll tops evenly with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Bake, covered, in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil cover and continue baking uncovered until the filling is hot and bubbly, and the roll tops are lightly golden brown, approximately 10 to 15 minutes more. (25-30 minutes)

06

Step

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into individual sliders. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Garnish each slider with a cornichon, securing it with a toothpick for an elegant touch. Serve warm and enjoy! (5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a thin layer of Dijon mustard along with the honey mustard.
If you don't have cornichons, sliced green olives or small sweet pickles make a great substitute.
These sliders are best served warm, but they can also be enjoyed at room temperature.
