Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, undissolved yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and oil. Mix until well blended, about 1 minute.

03

Step

Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky and form a ball. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface, adding more flour as needed, until smooth and elastic, about 4 minutes. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions; cover. If using rapid-rise yeast, let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

05

Step

On a greased baking sheet, pat each dough portion into an 8-inch circle with floured hands. Pinch the edges to form a rim. Place a second crust on the same baking sheet.

06

Step

Bake for 6-7 minutes, or until the dough is just set and lightly browned on the bottom. Transfer the crusts to a wire rack to cool. Repeat with the remaining dough. (15 minutes)

07

Step

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Spread each crust with your favorite pizza sauce. Top with desired toppings in spooky Halloween designs or any creative pattern you like. (5 minutes)

08

Step

Place the pizzas on a baking sheet and bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned and the crust is golden brown on the bottom. (7 minutes)

For a crispier crust, pre-bake the crusts slightly longer. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and toppings to customize your mini pizzas. Garlic powder or Italian seasoning can be added to the dough for extra flavor. If freezing the crusts, make sure they are completely cooled before placing them in freezer bags. For a smoother dough, let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes after kneading before dividing.
