Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large saucepan, prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the box. Remove from heat. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Mix cake mix into the hot pudding and stir until blended. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Pour batter into prepared pan, and sprinkle with the chocolate chips and walnuts. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

06

Step

Allow to cool before serving. (30 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try using dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet.
To prevent the walnuts from sinking to the bottom of the cake, toss them with a tablespoon of flour before sprinkling them on top.
The cake can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
