Follow The Directions

01

Step

Press the Tofu: Lay tofu slices between layers of paper towels and place a heavy object on top to extract excess water. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes.

02

Step

Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds, minced garlic, hot sauce, and sugar. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Marinate the Tofu: Cut the pressed tofu into 1/2-inch cubes and gently toss them in the teriyaki mixture. Cover the bowl and let marinate for 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Bake the Tofu: Spread the marinated tofu evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the tofu cubes and continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crispy. (30 minutes)

06

Step

Assemble the Salad: Arrange the torn romaine lettuce on a platter to create a leafy bed. Garnish the edges with sliced strawberries. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Dress and Serve: Lightly spritz or drizzle the raspberry vinaigrette over the romaine lettuce. Pile the warm, baked tofu bites on top of the lettuce bed. Serve immediately and enjoy the symphony of flavors!

For extra crispy tofu, consider pressing the tofu for a longer duration, even up to an hour.
Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preference. A dash of sriracha can also be used.
If you don't have raspberry vinaigrette, a balsamic vinaigrette or even a simple lemon vinaigrette works well.
Garnish with extra sesame seeds or a sprinkle of chopped green onions for added visual appeal and flavor.
