Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C). (2 minutes)

02

Step

Quickly rinse the shrimp under cold water to remove any surface ice or sediment. Pat them dry with paper towels for optimal air frying. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd. Lightly mist with nonstick cooking spray. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Air-fry the shrimp for 5 minutes. Flip them gently and continue cooking until they turn a vibrant pink and the meat is opaque, approximately 3 to 4 minutes longer. (9 minutes)

04

Step

While the shrimp are cooking, melt the butter in a small, microwave-safe bowl using 50% power. This prevents splattering and ensures even melting. This should take around 30 to 60 seconds. Stir in the hot sauce and seafood seasoning until well combined. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Transfer the cooked shrimp to a large bowl. Drizzle generously with the prepared butter mixture and toss to coat every shrimp. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges for a zesty finish. (3 minutes)

For an even deeper flavor, consider adding a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika to the seafood seasoning.
Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preference. Start with a small amount and add more to taste.
If you don't have seafood seasoning, a blend of salt, pepper, paprika, and a pinch of celery seed works well as a substitute.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as cocktail sauce, remoulade, or garlic aioli.
