Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

On a lightly floured surface, gently roll out the chilled pie crust. Using a 2 1/2-inch circular cookie cutter or a glass, cut out twenty-four rounds. Transfer twelve of these rounds to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Place one cake-pop stick on each round, positioning it so that one end reaches almost to the center. Gently press the stick into the dough to secure it. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of apple pie filling onto the center of each round. Carefully place the remaining dough rounds on top of each 'pop'. Use a fork to crimp the edges, sealing the filling inside. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is beautifully golden and the filling is heated through, approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving. (25 minutes)

For a richer flavor, brush the tops of the pie pops with melted butter or an egg wash before baking.
If you don't have cake-pop sticks, these can be baked as mini pie circles. Simply omit the sticks and crimp the edges as directed.
Feel free to experiment with different pie fillings such as cherry, blueberry, or chocolate!
