Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the chopped cranberries, diced apple, chopped orange, sugar, minced shallot, jalapeno pepper, and sliced green onion. (5 minutes)

02

Step
1 mins

Add the fresh lime juice and white wine vinegar to the bowl. (1 minute)

03

Step
2 mins

Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined. Ensure the sugar is evenly distributed. (2 minutes)

04

Step
4 hrs

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together beautifully. (4-24 hours)

For a smoother salsa, pulse the cranberries in a food processor a few times before mixing.
Adjust the amount of jalapeno pepper to your desired level of spiciness. Remember that the heat will intensify as the salsa sits.
If you prefer a sweeter salsa, you can add a touch more sugar to taste.
This salsa can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Easy to make and so much better than store-bought salsa. I will definitely be making this again.
