Gently stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add remaining 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice. Continue cooking until heated through and cheese melts (approximately 3 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish each serving with halved grape tomatoes, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

For a richer flavor, try using brown butter instead of regular butter.
If you don't have lemon or herb-infused olive oil, you can substitute with regular olive oil and add a pinch of lemon zest or your favorite dried herbs.
Feel free to substitute any of the vegetables with your favorites. Asparagus, spinach, or mushrooms would also be delicious additions.
To make it a complete meal, consider adding grilled chicken, shrimp, or sausage to the skillet.
