Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with half of the lime juice and the finely chopped white onion. Ensure the shrimp is fully submerged. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the shrimp turns opaque, approximately 12 hours. (Time: 12 hours)

02

Step

Once the shrimp is opaque, drain the mixture thoroughly, discarding any accumulated juices. (Time: 5 minutes)

03

Step

In a separate large bowl, combine the remaining lime juice with the finely minced serrano chile pepper. (Time: 2 minutes)

04

Step

Add the marinated shrimp mixture, shredded crabmeat, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumber, cilantro, sliced red onion, and sliced jalapenos to the bowl containing the lime juice and serrano. (Time: 5 minutes)

05

Step

Gently stir in the tomato and clam juice cocktail to combine all ingredients. Season generously with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to your liking. (Time: 3 minutes)

06

Step

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving. (Time: 30 minutes)

For the best flavor, use freshly squeezed lime juice.
Adjust the amount of serrano and jalapeno peppers to your preference for spiciness.
Serve chilled on tostadas with slices of avocado and your favorite hot sauce, such as Tapatio.
Pairs perfectly with a cold Mexican beer.
