Follow The Directions

01

Step
8 hrs

Line a fine-mesh sieve with a coffee filter. Pour yogurt into the sieve set over a measuring cup; drain in the refrigerator until about 8 hours. (8 hours)

02

Step
5 mins

Whisk half-and-half and drink mix in a large bowl. Stir in strained yogurt and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. (5 minutes)

03

Step
2 hrs

Pour mixture into and ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze about 2 hours. (2 hours)

For a richer flavor, use Greek yogurt and allow to drain for a thicker consistency.
If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make this! Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 3-4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals.
For a natural orange flavor boost, add the zest of one orange to the half-and-half mixture before whisking.

Could I use regular milk instead of half-and-half? It will work, but the texture won't be as creamy. Half-and-half is really the way to go!
