Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and Dijon mustard until well combined. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Tear the romaine lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Pour the dressing over the lettuce, starting with about half and adding more to taste. Toss gently until the lettuce is evenly coated. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and toss again to combine. Serve immediately, with extra Parmesan cheese on top if desired. (2 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese instead of Parmesan.
Adjust the amount of garlic and lemon juice to your preference.
The dressing can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Bring to room temperature before using.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing for a little heat.

The lemon and garlic combination is perfect. I added some croutons for extra crunch.
